With the death of my grandparents and great aunt, as well as my own injuries and illnesses (iron deficiency, cracked ribs, chest infection, dodgy knee, dodgy calf, dodgy ankle – you get the idea), I think it’s fair to say that 2015 has been a difficult year. I’ve also been incredibly busy with work (freelance writing and teaching), and study (MA Writing, BA English Literature, Coaching in Running Fitness). It’s certainly been hectic!
Although I love blogging, I decided to take a few months off. It became impossible to give my blog the time it deserves, and I wasn’t in the right mind set. I’ve still been running. In fact, running has helped me cope with the loss of my grandparents. It’s also a great way to de-stress, relax and have fun.
This year may not have been the best, but there have also been lots of positives, memorable moments and some of the happiest times of my life. I’ve missed writing about them on the blog, which is why I’m making my blogging comeback.
I’m really excited about 2016. I’m determined it’s going to be a good year. I’ve got lots of ambitions for running, writing, and for the blog.
I hope you enjoy reading it.
