Champion Running is a blog about the wonderful sport of running, focusing on fun, friendship, fitness and achievement.
I really believe running is a sport that has the potential to change lives. As well as the physical benefits, it’s also great for the mind. And, the good thing about running is that anyone can do it, whatever your age or ability. Through this blog, my aim is to inspire people to run and to feel positive about their running. I hope more than anything that the blog makes them smile.
I love to work with suitable organisations, charities and brands. I’ve worked with Action for Children, We Run and England Athletics, as a mental health run ambassador.
Champion Running has a loyal and growing readership with readers locally, nationally and internationally.
I’m a trained journalist and copywriter. I specialise in writing about health and fitness, but have written on many different topics. I’m also a fitness instructor and coach in running fitness, with qualifications in studio cycling, exercise to music, nutrition and weight management. I’m currently studying for an MA in writing at Sheffield Hallam University, where I’m writing a book about my experience of long-distance running.
I take a lot of pride in my writing and blogging, producing content that recognises the everyday highs and lows of running in a lively and positive way. Readers say they find it inspirational and fun.
